Mediation

Click Here to give us more information

Mediation is a negotiation aided by a neutral “mediator”. Mediators are required by Texas law to have a minimum of 40 hours of training. A mediator is not required to have any professional licenses; however, many mediators are licensed in some profession such as law, or mental health, or some field of finance.

Richard Shannon is an attorney licensed by the Texas Supreme Court. He has basic and advanced training in mediation including advanced family law mediation training. He has mediated several hundred cases. He is a member of the Texas Association of Mediators.

Shannon Family Law can help you decide if mediation is a good option for your case. We offer a Initial 30 minute consultation. We want to learn about your situation and help you plan your next steps. Call 512-733-8259 to schedule your initial consult.
